Crawling

Shane finally crawled today! Crawling is a huge milestone and I'm so glad I was home to see it! He has been scooting around for a couple of weeks and has been dragging himself commando style all over our new house, but this afternoon he finally figured out how to use his knees. Once he started he just took off! I think we are really in for some trouble now...he is very curious and is going to be getting into everything! He already pulls himself up to standing too so he should be walking in no time. They grow up so fast!

Two Front Teeth!

I managed to get a picture of Shane's new teeth! It was a rough couple of weeks waiting for them to break through, but he is much happier now and still chewing on everything! We also got him to eat vegetables this week! He just LOVES his carrots!

We love our new place, too. Shane has so much more room to play. He is currently scooting himself all over the place. He doesn't seem to care about actually crawling, but would rather drag himself across the floor with his arms. It's so funny!

We went to the Butter and Eggs Day Parade in Petaluma yesterday. It was fun, but TOO hot for baby Shane in the sun. He was exhausted, but loved all the people watching. He especially loved all the police cars and sirens : )

Swimming!

The weather was just PERFECT this weekend! Shane went swimming for the first time yesterday! He really liked it. We bought him this cute crab floaty, loaded him up with sunscreen and off he went. The pool was too cold so we cooled off the hot tub and he hung out in there for about half an hour before deciding he had enough. Thanks to April and her parents for BBQing and having us over in their beautiful backyard. We can't wait for summertime!!!

Showing off his new swim diaper!

Having fun in his crab floaty

We are moving!

We found a really nice place in Rincon Valley and will be moving in two weeks! I am so excited, but there is so much to do! This means a longer commute for me, but it will be such a nice change for us. It is in a nice neighborhood, has a cute yard for Shane to play in and even though we will be losing a bedroom, there is much more space overall. The best part is that we are right next to a really great park and we will have so much fun taking Shane there over the summer. Things will be pretty hectic for us this month, but stay tuned for a housewarming party in the near future!

Here is a picture of Shane and I at the park I was talking about!
