October Babies!

Shane is lucky to share his birthday month with two of the cutest girls ever! Dakota had a birthday costume party at the park this year. The kids were so cute in their costumes! Shane absolutely loved being a dinosaur and Dakota was the cutest little lady bug!

Anniston and Dakota...adorable bugs!

I made Dakota an ear flap hat with a flower (my very first one) and she loved it! She put it on right when she opened it and wore it the rest of the party. She is so cute! Dakota and Shane play very well together and had lots of fun playing with bubbles and riding around in Dakota's new PowerWheels Jeep.

Shane likes to pick flowers for "Kota" which of course I think is the cutest thing ever, but her Daddy is very protective of boys coming after his baby girl! At least Shane is polite and does nice things for his girl-friend! We'll see if the usual boy-shoving-girl flirtation comes around in Elementary school :)

Nora had her 2nd birthday party at the park too! Nora was so cute running around in her dress and loved all the attention. Shane seemed a little unsure at first, but then made friends with another cute little girl that talked even more than he does!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Baby Shane!

Yes, my baby boy is 2...and although he is now a little man, I still call him Baby Shane! What is even funnier is that he actually referred to himself as Baby Shane while riding his new motorcycle. It was the cutest thing and I even got it on video, but I can't seem to upload it!

The birthday party was a lot of fun, but oh so much work! Thank goodness for my wonderful family and friends who helped with a lot of it. This year was Thomas the Train theme and my girls helped me make this awesome cupcake train. I got the idea from another blogger on here and it worked out great!

The kids had a blast playing at the park and once Shane got his new motorcycle from his Aunties (Jackie and April) we couldn't keep him off of it!

We finished off the afternoon with a few presents. Shane likes to tear off one little piece of wrapping paper at a time and hand each one to me...the kids got a little restless and started to help him out. It was pretty cute!

After we got home Shane napped for a bit and we put together his new train table. He LOVES it! Of course not all of the trains/cars that we got fit well on the tracks, but he doesn't really care.

I knew it would only be a matter of time before all our hard work was destroyed...the tracks only lasted for 5 days, but that is actually a lot longer than I thought it would!! Thanks to everyone who came out and celebrated with us!
